Susan Tate & Judy Bankhead or “The Sisters” as they are commonly referred to by many of their customers, have been apart of this family owned business since its inception in 1969.  Born and raised in the Houston Heights, where the strong sense of family and community responsibility were instilled in them at an early age, made it very easy to become owners and business partners in Darlene’s Flower & Gift Shop in 1982.  Susan and Judy are always thankful that God has blessed them with the supportive group of customers and that His hands have guided the many interesting turns Darlene’s has made to become the successful full service flower and gift shop that it is today.
